firefox homepage hijacked??

Is this possible? When I start firefox it starts loading I just installed firefox a few minutes ago, and only browsed about two web pages. The first page was and the other was the firefox themes one. How could I have been hijacked so quickly? I mean, this would be record time even for Internet Explorer!! Anyway, has anyone else experienced this? any thoughts on how to remove it? thx

You will want to check three things I think.
1. Your proxy settings - make sure you are not being re-directed. Select direct connection to the internet
2. Remove any additional parameters that launch firefox
3. Change DNS settings and see if the problem still occurs.
