Question filtered port

Hi !!

what does it mean whan a port is filtered ?

what is the diffarance between closed and filtered port?

Filtered means that the computer being probed did not respond at all on that port. Closed means the probed machine acknowledged the existence of a port but is not accepting connections to it.
