Fedora Core 4 + Squid setup questions

I have just ordered some parts for a new computer to use as a squid proxy
(celeron d 2.53GHZ, 1GB RAM, 40GB SATA, and 2 NICS)

While waiting for the parts to come in I have been reading the help files off of squid-cache.org and am working up a plan on how to best impliment this in the company (about 30 computers)

Is there anything I should be looking out for once I start the install and setup process? any gotchas that I should be aware of?

I am planning on running squid on Fedora Core 4 x86_64

Thanks

Should be fairly straightforward once you have your base FC4 install done. Are you looking at configuring any kinda of authentication to control user's logging in and allow logging on a per user basis of sites visited? Also, are you looking at setting up any kind of filtering or blocking of sites through the Squid ACL's or SquidGuard? May I suggest you also look at DansGuardian for more advanced content filtering, depending on your needs.

I am looking at NTLM authentication.

I am planning on using squids ACL's for content blocking. I will take a look at DansGuardian to see if that would fit my needs.

Thanks
