expire date in useradd


Hi guys I just wanted to know what the format of the expire date in the useradd command should be........

To set an expiration date when creating an account, use the command:

# useradd -e mm/dd/yy login_name

Are you sure about the date format

I was googling around and a site stated yyyy-mm-dd
