ettercap "hackers"

ok check out ettercap at sourceforge.net

how do i stop it from being using on my network?
I have a win box and 1 linux server and a linux desktop.

Ettercaps's most functions use arp. So is there a way i can set a static arp so that wont mess with me?

The recommended way would be not to install it ;)

you can get arpwatch, it will send you an email when it notices arp changes.

other than then, its a insecure protocol, there isn't much else, you can try isolating the physical network (subnet). Other then that there isn't much else that i know of.
