encrypted files, decrypted fictive drives

hallo,
please tell me,
is there something equivalent software for Linux like "encrypted disk" under win?

Alien Bob 12-16-2006 04:50 PM

Yes. look for cryptoloop which is in the Linux kernel, or TrueCrypt which lets you use your encrypted disk in Windows as well as Linux.
I wrote two articles in my Wiki on how I configured these: CryptoLoop and TrueCrypt.
