Question Enabling ProFTP

I'm trying to enable ProFTP on my system. I'm using Mandrake Linux 8.2
I'm trying to enable NAT for my FTP server. As root I entered this:

echo "1">/proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward
ipchains -P forward DENY
ipchains -I forward -s 192.168.1.2 -j MASQ

The problem is in the second line. When I enter it I receive this message:
ipchains: protocol not available

Am I typing something wrong?

Thanks

First make sure you're using either iptables or ipchains and all modules are loaded correctly.

Thanks,

I didn't realize that Mandrake 8.2 uses iptables and the info above was for ipchains.
