easy-to-use firewall for system w/ fluxbox

i've been using guarddog as a firewall on my faster system that has kde, but i just setup an old laptop with fluxbox and no desktop environment because it can't handle it. i need an easy-to-use firewall for my laptop, maybe similar to guarddog, that doesn't require a desktop environment to run it.

i'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to linux security, so i don't want to be messing around with script files to setup a firewall. i'd prefer a firewall builder that is easily configurable, preferably with a gui. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm confused. You want a firewall that doesn't need gui to run, but you want a gui interface to set it up?

I would just go with a script.

Take a look here. I googled this....

ipkungfu is a good script with easy to modify config files. It uses iptables but is super easy to setup.
