Distro to use?

Hi all.

I'm currently using Redhat 9.0 as an authentication server and webserver. I'm doing updates from The fedora-legacy project(http://www.fedoralegacy.org).

What I want to ask is: From a security standpoint is it better to move to a distro where more development is being done? Such as Ubuntu or CentOs.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

At some point the updates are going to be discontinued, so you will have to migrate anyway. I would choose something like CentOS because you are guaranteed to get security updates for around 5 years.
