disabling sunrpc on RH 8.0

Hello,

I searched the forums for how to disable sunrpc but haven't had any luck following that advice. There is no sunrpc file script located in my /etc/rc.d... dir nor is there any reference to it as an xinetd "service." In fact, I can't seem much on my system that I could tweak to turn it off...

Code:
[root@titanium init.d]# locate sunrpc | more
/usr/include/linux/sunrpc
/usr/include/linux/sunrpc/msg_prot.h
/usr/include/linux/sunrpc/auth.h
/usr/include/linux/sunrpc/clnt.h
/usr/include/linux/sunrpc/debug.h
/usr/include/linux/sunrpc/svcauth.h
/usr/include/linux/sunrpc/sched.h
/usr/include/linux/sunrpc/stats.h
/usr/include/linux/sunrpc/svc.h
/usr/include/linux/sunrpc/svcsock.h
/usr/include/linux/sunrpc/types.h
/usr/include/linux/sunrpc/xdr.h
/usr/include/linux/sunrpc/xprt.h
/lib/modules/2.4.18-14/kernel/net/sunrpc
/lib/modules/2.4.18-14/kernel/net/sunrpc/sunrpc.o
Can anyone offer advice? I didn't even want this installed but since I'm not too much of a package guru I used RH 8's base server install + development packages. Thanks a lot!
