default user list


I am looking for a list of the known default users used by linux. example: named is used by bind. Does anyone know of a source with this information?

No I don't, but one way to find out for apps would be to use your package manager to view all the packages on your installer cd's, list the scripts and check for any addgroup/adduser commands.
