Creative ways to increase security awareness in the office?

Hi. I'm trying to figure out some ways to increase security awareness in the office. I've got no trouble finding ways to improve security, but the real challenge is convincing management and staff that it is worth the trouble. And I don't have the authority to force people to watch hours of boring security training modules, so I was hoping to find something more creative.

I was thinking maybe I could email around some "shock" videos or articles about social engineering, or common exploits of common security vulnerabilities. Perhaps someone might have a suggestion on specific videos or articles?

Do some research on the most recent security and data breaches and share them with your associates.

Talk with the cyber security manager or the general manager of security and show that your very serious and back it up with company's that have been hacked. If that doesn't convince them to up their game on security than if and when they do get hit they can't say you didn't tell them so. OR at least try to warn them and encourage them ahead of time.

IF the company has ever had a security breach before bring that up and ask 'you wouldn't want what happened in (month of and the year) to be a reapeat again would you?

Video's that show how easy it is to persuade a person into breaking normal security procedures may or may not work.Depends on the receiving end. Articles that show how successful black hat hackers are at what they do can be fuel to make security more of a focus in the office.
