Clam AntiVirus Help


I just installed Clam AntiVirus. Can some one tell me how to use it and how to update it. right now I'm using Antivir or what ever and to udpate it I type antivir --update in the konsole.

I use f-prot myself but I did find this:

Don't know how it works with SuSe, but under Debian you get the program "freshclam" that goes online and updates your DB.
If that don't run by itself when you install Clam, then just add it to your chron.d file
At the moment i'm without linux 'cause the main disk died for me. So i can't give you any more info about it.

clamd to initiate the daemon....

make a cron job, every whatever suits you, ie freshclam --silent,

you need to read the readme that comes with it,
