Captive Account for X application

I just installed a TV tuner card in the desktop in my dorm at school. It's the only TV in the room.

I would like to make a "guest" login account for the roommates to watch TV.

I'm familiar with captive logins/accounts, but can this be done with X windows?

I.e. if they login via KDE/KDM, I want the account to ONLY be able to use the TV application that I select - it logs in to that application, and when the application ends, it closes. No filesystem access, no shell, etc.

Any ideas/tips?

A variant of a "failsafe" session where you just exec the app, not the DE. See scripts in /etc/X11/.*
