Question Can firestarter administer a remote server?

The answer is probably no since I don't see any mention of it on the firestarter page, but I'll ask anyway.

Here's my situation. I have an old computer (P-90 16 MB RAM 500 MB HD) that could never run Gnome. I'm using it with Smoothwall right now. I'm considering putting Slackware on it and just using iptables, but I don't want to go back to manually editing firewall scripts. I had Slackware 8.1 on it before I moved to Smoothwall.

So, can firestarter or any similar tools administer the firewall on a remote server?

The reason I want to switch back is I want to run MyNetWatchman on it. I believe a service like that is important to the Internet. I've never been able to get MyNetWatchman reporting scripts running on Smoothwall because Smoothwall is missing many important tools that are present in a minimal Slackware install.

None I'm familiar with, but you could scp them over when you're done setting up, and tweak where necessary, right?

It's good for the community to support those initiatives, and it's good to show you're willing to support them.
