Post books for firewall


pls guide me for proper use of iptables and tell me good books for indepth study

Hi,

did you check amazon website by searching there for iptables? Google is also your friend.

and, in case you didn't really want to buy a book, but wanted something you could look through at your leisure as a .pdf or print out (and, because I've never answered a LQ question with an answer that can be sung to the Robin Hood theme before) and, as you said, in depth:

(they call it a tutorial, but, it looks like a manual to me)

After that, a search on 'iptables' and 'tutorial' will give you some good hits too.

If you are looking for a dead-tree version of an iptables book, I would suggest Linux Firewalls.
