Automatic hard disk restore
Hello,
I want to restore my hard disk before every starting of the operating system.
The first disk has Linux, read only hard disk, hardware write protection.
The second disk is empty. The same size as the first disk.
Now I want to start the computer and for few minutes to copy the information from first hard disk to second. Raw image copy, not file copy. All this should be automatically. Just start computer and the computer is ready, waiting for login. The raw image copy is easy with the command:
prompt> dd if=/dev/hda of=/dev/hdb
note: if you do not know dd command: it can destroy your files, use it carefully.
My question is: how to automate all this?
Thank you.
