audit compilation :audit_tty_status missing

ello,

during the configure. I have the following error that I guess prevent me to get the pam_audit_tty feature:

checking for struct audit_tty_status... no

#uname -a
Linux lfslc5 2.6.18.8-xenU-64b #1 SMP Tue May 6 18:09:10 CEST 2008 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Is anybody can tell me what's miss ?

If I'm looking at audit.h in kernel 2.6.18 below audit_status there's no audit_tty_status, yet in audit.h in kernel 2.6.23.9 there is. You probably know better if there is a patch to the kernel and auditd, else maybe try kernel >=2.6.23.9?
