Apache logging on a production web server should be?

On a production web server what should the logging level be. Right now im getting all the code reb/blue crap which i feel is useless to log. Just a waste of processor, I think. SHouldnt I only be logging warnings or emegency/etc.

I know this can vary depending on a bunch of variables, but Im just looking for some advice of people that have production servers out there.
