Apache integration with windows domain
 

Hi Guyz

here i need help from Apache guru

My query to all is that i have set up a apache server on RH 7.3
now iwant to give authentication also this should be intergrated with windows domain, so any user can access using his domain ID and password is it possible???? If yes then how????


Also i have created one folder in /var/www/html/test and made the necessary changes in httpd.conf. I want to create onemore link my Home page so that it will divert me to new section and i want to create authentication for this too??????

Can any one help me????

Do a search for .htaccess I think this is what you are looking for

I think the problem is more complicated - you want to configure apache to authentikate against a windows domain controller
Are you using samba or windows as PDC
You should consider configuring 3 systems to fit together so it works
Look for pam.conf and modules that let you authenticate against PDC but I would suggest LDAP and kerberos as they are implemented under windows too
