aide

ok's people. I tried putting aide on a floppy and got into some trouble. I'm sure someone with a cleared head can figure out where the problem is

Code:
./configure --prefix=/floppy/aide
make; strip src/aide; make install
cd /floppy/aide/bin
./aide --config=./aide.conf --init
Caught SIGBUS/SEGV. Exiting
Aborted
Through google, only thing that comes up with the error is that it may be linked to libmhash. Any ideas?

here's some more:

Code:
#./aide --config=./aide.conf --init --verbose=255
Setting verbosity to 255
commandconf():@@include ./aide.conf

@@include
Caught SIGBUS/SIGSEGV
Caught SIGBUS/SEGV. Exiting
Aborted
does this mean that the aide.conf is wrong? Sorry, I'm new to aide and don't know if I got it right.

PS. using v 0.9

Did you compile Aide as static binary (check with "ldd aide")?
I always do, never saw this error. If it persists and we can't help, prepare output from running "strace aide <args>", jump to the Aide user or dev mailinglist, and post the output there.
