adnxs ads on my google homepage
I am running FireFox 1.0 for Mint and I am getting ads on my google homepage and the same annoying ads on my internet browsing. Looks like they are coming from adnxs.com. Is this a virus of some kind? Your help is appreciated.

If Google owns the home page, then you do not entirely own it.

It's Firefox 11, but 1.0 for Mint. I know the ADs are not right for the google homepage. What gives?

No it's not.

Way outdated. Running an obsolete version of Firefox is not advisable. Current is 16.0.2 right now: update first.

I don't know about the others but my ESP is way low today so I have no idea what you mean with "not right". That should be your cue to spill some details people can actually do something with.
*BTW I'll be moving this thread to the Linux General forum as it's more appropriate there.

LinuxMint generates revenue from google-enabled code in their releases.
Have you asked at http://forums.linuxmint.com/ ?
