3 DSL Connections & 1 Proxy Server

"3 DSL Connections & 1 Proxy Server"

We have 1 DSL of Comsats ISP and 2 DSLs of Micronet here in Islamabad. Right now, just comsats is on Proxy Squid (Transparent).

And the other 2 DSLs are dedicated for two different departments say Dept X and Dept Y, but these are not being proxied, just direct access to DSL via ethernet.

We need to proxy these 2 other DSLs also on the same machine.....or mother suggestions can also be accomodated as well...

plz tell me HOW TOs about this.........

regards

wot I grasp and have idea about is :
I need 2 existing NICs + 2 additional NICS for other 2 new DSL Gateways.

But I have configured my squid transparetly working where I redirect all the http traffic to port 3128.

So, tell me where would I redirect traffic from dept X and Dept Y consectively.

And wot changed I have to make in Squid.conf

regards

Sounds right, I don't think you should have to change anything for Squid. The tricky part is having 3 internet connections on the one machine. You'll need to configure your routing tables for split acces (http://lartc.org/howto/lartc.rpdb.multiple-links.html) so that packets going out over each interface come back on the same interface.

You'd then need to setup routing so that packets from the network that department X is on go over DSL connection X and so on. This part of the HOWTO seems to be a similar situation to your's: http://lartc.org/howto/lartc.rpdb.ht...TC.RPDB.SIMPLE
