2 Factor Authentication on Desktop
Good morning all,
I want to enable the pam module for Google 2 factor authentication to secure my laptop a bit more. Has anyone accomplished this? It seems very straightforward when it comes to a non-graphical setup. My question is: Is this possible while using X? I am using Arch linux + Slim + Openbox. I would love for it to ask for username, password, and 2 factor auth. Thank you! |
Yes. You can just need to do the same configuration you would for ssh for login. Be sure to put some of the standby codes in your wallet.

So if I do this configuration -- Slim will ask:
Username Password 2 Factor Auth Password In that order, and visually? Because I see no documentation on Slim or Openbox about 2 factor authentication. |
