No kidding 14 full sized dual monitor images in 4 parts.

Too bad LQ doesn't have an automatic image resize thing. Other forums I've been on will shrink the images so they don't fill the whole screen.

^ didn't know "Automatic" was possible ... but maybe it's the software being used.

I think it's the same software, which is vbulletin. Might depend on the version used/features enabled. It shrinks down the image, and puts a banner above it if you want to see the full size of it. I don't think it shrinks the file size though.

Edit: I switched back to the BlueMenta 'controls' (basic GUI theme) because the Go-Touch theme doesn't play well with Pluma, Transmission, etc.

Click on the pic after it loads to go full size...


Now the viewer has the option of just eyeballing the thumbnail, veiwing the resized version (first click), or the full size version (second click). Although I have some bandwidth, gigantic full size pics lag the $#1+ out of my browser briefly, it's extremely annoying. I'm just glad a new page has started in this thread.

I also fail to see how pics of a truck are Linux desktop screenshots, WTH?

I was showing how some forums automatically downsize the images. I feature that would have been useful in this thread.

Or copy the "link" and add as a URL to a Direct Link

I installed Arch on this old Compaq laptop a couple of days ago and really like it so far. Still run Manjaro on the other 3.

Ok, I'm a newbie at posting screenshots but reading some previous posts I decided to use thumbnails (thanks Sector11).
If it's not the way how this is done here (seeing other posts) please be patient with me and I will fix the problem

@DJOtaku: Due to several reports about this thread and its loading times and formatting we have replaced the images in your posts with links to them.

@All: While it is always nice to see your creativity, please think about keeping image sizes in this thread reasonable, not everyone has fast broadband Internet access. Please use thumbnails or post links to your images, if they are large.

So I recognize the Linux penguin, the FreeBSD Daemon and the GNU Gnu. What are the other two?

I asked myself the same question and I came to the conclusion the other characters are just fillers in what is supposed to be an imaginary medieval scene. Although, PCLinuxOS's logo mascot is a bull. :/ Oops, I didn't notice the bovine could be a GNU, my bad.

The bird could be the raven from Edgar Allen Poe's tale, and the egg character on the edge of the cliff could be Humpty Dumpty, lol.
