Win Free LinuxQuestions.org Merchandise
Would you like to win some great LQ merchandise? It's easy! All you have to do is make a post in the next two weeks. On June 14th, we will randomly select 3 posts that fall between now and then (excluding ones made by me). The only rule is that the post must be somewhat substantive as judged by me. While I'll be extremely lenient on the definition of that, posts like "me too" or "just posting so I am eligible to win" will be excluded. Of course, the more times you post the more chances you have to win. This means going through the Zero Reply Threads will allow you to not only help others, but also make it more likely you will win. Any questions should be posted in this thread. If you are a winner, you can choose any one item from the LQ merchandise store. Have fun, and good luck!
Errr.... Forgive my ignorance, but isn't this forum about posting a reply 'cause you can actually help the other guy solve his problem instead of trying to win some treasured LQ stuff?
Maybe I'm just an Old School Sucker (yes, that abbreviates OSS ) but the former is the reason I came to LQ in the first place... Anyway, whoever wins: have fun with your price
I think that it is a great idea that LQ is able to give back to the masses that are helping out. This is not counter productive in any means. This is their way of saying thanks.
as long as the people are really posting legit things...the OH..enter me to win post is probably not the best use of the forum but hey what do I know..I'm a noobie
