US-CERT: Risks of Using the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI)

US-CERT has issued Alert (TA13-207A) updating the initial release of 26 July adding vendor information.

If you are using IPMI, it would be a good idea to read the Alter and perhaps take some action based on the vendor information (Dell in particular has provided links to product information).

See https://www.us-cert.gov/ncas/alerts/TA13-207A.

Hope this helps some.
