The LQ Mobile app for Android has been updated

We're happy to announce that the native LQ Mobile Android app has been updated. This update squashes a huge number of bugs (well over 100) and incorporates a completely new UI. Visit https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...etin.build_114 for more information.

Neat. Looking forward to trying the new (and hopefully vastly improved) version. Thanks all who contributed to it!

Is this app open source, and if so, where is the code hosted?

The app was not developed by us and is unfortunately not Open Source.

Did LQ have to pay to get it developed or was it donated time?

Its a very nice app BTW! Thanks so much for making it easy to connect to my favorite site.

Additionally: Why does it need camera access?

The camera access is required as it's possible to upload a picture using the app. Thanks for the feedback.

Too bad about the camera. I'm just not comfortable with apps that have access to anything the camera might be seeing at any time.
