Quarterly LQ Zero Reply Drive
One of the main goals of LQ is to help members get questions about Linux answered. One way we help facilitate this is with the "Zero Reply" functionality, which allows you to easily find threads with no replies. As previously announced, we've made the "Zero Reply Drive" a quarterly event here at LQ. The latest LQZRD will start in 30 minutes and will run for 96 hours. During that time, I invite everyone to click http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...p?do=noreplies and attempt to answer as many questions as they can.
Keep in mind that if you'd like to search for threads on specific topics that have 0 replies, you can do so using the advanced search (Find Threads with -> At Most -> 0 Replies).
If you have any ideas on how we can further facilitate questions being answered at LQ, please let us know in this thread.

An update as we're a little over halfway through the current ZRD:
Quote:
|
312 Threads with 0 replies (from the last month)
|
As the ZRD started early on a Monday and LQ is usually a bit slower on the weekends, we actually have a few more zero reply threads than when we started. If you get a chance, please visit http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...p?do=noreplies and see if you can help.

The current ZRD has ended and for the first time we failed to decrease the number of zero reply threads. There was a db corruption event during the drive, but I'm not sure of the impact that had. Thanks again for your participation. Hopefully next drive we'll get back on track. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve the ZRD, do let us know.
