Quarterly LQ Zero Reply Drive

One of the main goals of LQ is to help members get questions about Linux answered. One way we help facilitate this is with the "Zero Reply" functionality, which allows you to easily find threads with no replies. As previously announced, we've made the "Zero Reply Drive" a quarterly event here at LQ. The latest LQZRD will start at 1pm today (LQDT) and run for 96 hours. During that time, I invite everyone to click http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...p?do=noreplies and attempt to answer as many questions as they can.

Keep in mind that if you'd like to search for threads on specific topics that have 0 replies, you can do so using the advanced search (Find Threads with -> At Most -> 0 Replies).

If you have any ideas on how we can further facilitate questions being answered at LQ, please let us know in this thread.

Is there a way to identify if a member has specific skills in an area and perhaps invite them to review a post in there area of expertise?

Or along with searching for existing posts on a topic before posting, being able to search for a member who has replied a lot to a specific topic.

Just a suggestion.

In the future we plan to add a way for members to track specific subjects they're interested in, but we don't have an ETA at this time. Thanks for the feedback. After 24 hours we're just over 300 Threads with 0 replies.

Try to read regularly - is great place to learn :-)

When find queries self resolved do provide my limited knowledge.

May the problem increase due Linux attracting more NON-technical users like self ;-)

...just as a (hopefully welcome) sidenote...zero-replies is the first thing I click on, answering a question helps me further my personal knowledge...I can only encourage everyone else to join in and not wait for the quarterly drive...make it a daily event!

I am a new user of Lubuntu/Ubuntu. My question has not been replied.

I can not update Lubuntu.

Please, forgive me for replying here.
I am so hopeless.

1) Please keep in mind that we require posts at LQ to be in some way constructive, which your post certainly is not.
2) For obvious reasons, I'm going to have to ask you to change your username. Let me know what you'd like it changed to.
