This week it was released PeaZip 1.11
http://peazip.sourceforge.net/
The release is focused in introducing support (create, browse, extract, test, repair) for ARC/WRC archive format supported through FreeArc.
FreeArc is a new promising GPL project for a compressor which supports recovery records and strong encryption (AES, Serpent, Twofish, Blowfish); the compression ratio is comparable or better to 7z and RAR, and the speed is better at comparable compression ratios.

Release 1.11 also completes the set of tools integrated in the application with a checksum/hash tool that can check multiple files with multiple (user selectable) algorithms at once, supporting:
Adler32, CRC16/24/32/64, eDonkey/eMule, MD4/MD5, Ripemd160, SHA1/224/256/384/512, and Whirlpool512.
I hope you can enjoy this new release of PeaZip!
