He's keeping me entertained anyway. Every circus needs a clown.
I like to be on the winning side. I wanted to get into some big company like exxon, or microsoft but I didn't have a degree because I sucked. I couldn't get past some math and physics in college, but I learned BASIC.
Even if I got hired I just would have fooled around with some code in BASIC anyways, I probably would have got hosed anyway.
I am for stealing from the poor to give to the rich, I hope they keep on jacking up the price of gas, people must learn to pay! I hope ballmer forces the world to pay billions of dollars for all their Intellectual property, just be honest with yourself and join the winning side.
Could it be that companies are open sourcing their programs to save money by not hiring and paying programmers anymore ? could they open source even other things, like work for free, it's your hobby, I will just sell things (hardware?). Could this make them even richer ? hmmmm............ from a blessing to a curse........hmmmm.......

old6598 = Steve Ballmer = Tony Soprano
Have you ever considered writing a novel? Fantasy would be your ideal genre, with a large dose of satire.
I have Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt about open source and Linux. Could it be that ...... the companies are open sourcing their stuff because the really competitive and innovative technology is being developed in their secret laboratories while they just kind of let the kids play with an old 35 year operating system ?
hmm...............

I heard Microsoft has a new secret lab at area 08/15.Why don't you go and find it on google earth?
Is Microsoft becoming the next SCO? Linux-Watch.com seems to think so, especially in light of this week's patent posturing.
The FUD comes at a tough time for Microsoft, which may be exactly the point. Vista is for all intents and purposes sputtering; Dell is cozying up to Linux on the desktop; and the anti-Microsoft/Novell GPLv3 nears completion. What better time to muddy the waters, right?
@ Steve-uhm, old6598: Your very deal with Novell is actually going to kill Microsoft, not open source. Click here
EDIT: All your patents are belong to us
EDIT2: This means your last defence against open source just vanished, I can play all my games with Wine now, say goodbye and die. As soon as Ubuntu 7.10 comes out I will be happily throwing away my Windows eXtra Pain cd and leave your evil platform for good. The fact that my sound card does not work since Windows eXtra Pain Service Pack 2 because it is not 'certified' did it, asshole.
Distribution: Slackware & Slamd64. What else is there?

This is alot of truth to this. It does say in the communist (oops I mean Gnu) manifesto that programmer's salaries are expected to go down because of so-called "Free Software". But, they continue, "nobody's forcing you to be a programmer."
