LQ Blogs Updated
I'm happy to announce that the blog setup here at LQ has been completely redesigned. The new system is completely integrated into the main site, implements traditional blog functionality such as comments and RSS feeds, allows for customization and much more. Did you know you had a blog at LQ? Visit http://www.linuxquestions.org/blog/ for a list of LQ member blogs. From there, simply click "Your Blog" to start your own blog. All content from the old LQ blog system was moved over, and all old blog URL's will redirect to the new system indefinitely. Thanks again goes to david_ross for his continued help.
Jeremy
My original intention was to post the on going experiences of a newbie to perhaps help the individual over the trials I traversed. However I may have made a serious mistake in my thinking. Rather then go back and edit my original entry I posted like 2nd installment thinking it would appear below the first. Well I see to the left the links to get to the other posts, but that defeats my purpose. Should I start over, or what
Sorry about being a pest, but I discovered the blog but through my own ineptitude the beginning is at the end see link. Please advise a fix or short that I will start over for I have a number of other entries

texas.chef94, as with all blogs I've seen the posts are structured so that new posts appear on top (same as the forums). We have no plans to implement any kind of sticky posts or ability to change the sorting.
for a while the bb code was on. Now I look and it's off. I was curious as to why there was a change and if there was a setting I could change myself to get it back on.
when I click on 'post to your blog' from the left column when I am looking at one of my blog posts, I'm sent to a screen with a simple text editor but no formatting options, and again on the left I see a box that says 'Posting Rules' and 'BB code is OFF'. This is an example of one of my blogs where I have tried to use the 'bold' bb codes.

radiodee1, you should be able to use bb code now. There was an issue that impacted a very small number of members. You can choose which text editor you use in your options under "Message Editor Interface".
