It's the membership that makes the board, but with out you Jeremy it would not exist at all. Thank you for starting this forum 13 years ago. Maraming salamat po. To LQ members Maraming salamat po sa lahat.

Looking forward to seeing the new forum layout. One bit of feedback. The Reputation ratings (my opinion of course) are more of an agree or disagree with a post. More often than not post are rated as helpful either because of who said it or that they agree with the post even though that post did nothing to help solve any sort of issue. I see it more as a popularity thing that reputation thing. It thing it's time is past. I sure many with disagree, but you asked for feedback and I gave it.

Again, that to all LQ members and Jeremy for make this a nice place to learn and get information.

I am a technology trial lawyer (IP cases, licensing disputes, etc.) and a C programmer. I installed my first Linux distribution about 2.5 years ago (Fedora) and have used this site continuously to help learn, develop my skills, and get more out of Linux. I'm closely involved with the open source legal community, and contribute to various organizations. I am now in the process of setting up a robust home network using a Linux file server (Debian) serving various Windows PCs, Linux PCs, and numerous iDevices. This site is invaluable. Happy birthday, and thanks, Jeremy, LinuxQuestions.org, and the wonderful men and women who take time to share their knowledge with the rest of us.

Good source of information

LinuxQuestions.org is a great source of information. If I had to provide a suggestion, maybe an android app for easy access to news/forums on the go?

Congratulations Jeremy . Thank you for giving life to this great site. I totally agree with others that I rarely ask many questions because the answers are always there.

I actually don't have much in terms of suggestions, as I'm pretty much satisfied.

Perhaps a weekly newsletter with some of the forum highlights. I like the choice polls as it provokes more discussion.

I am actually in favour of the reputation system as it helps boost quality. I frequent the LFS forum so its a great way to express my gratitude.

As a newcomer I have found a wealth of knowledge on this forum so congratulations and thanks to everyone who makes this happen. I'm using Linux Mint 15.

One comment though, the search engine won't let you use common short words like bios, usb. What do I type if I have a problem with usb in my bios?

This is a friendly forum. I like that very much. And I think that this is due to your, Jeremy, (and the mods) gentle influence . Very well done and thanks.

P.S.: Just in case, I won't be able to travel to the OSCON.

Hi jeremy. At the risk of sounding totally foolish, where is the "user tools" located so I can subscribe to LE?
