Happy birthday LQ I am still new at this LINUX game and getting myself weaned from windows to my LINUX box. The wife is still using MS for the games and familiarity. I'm sure glad you're still around, I'll probably be visiting often for a while until I get the DOS/MS to linux changes worked out and get all the MS out of my system and learn fully how to work in linux.
It's always about *money*, isn't it?? pfff.. you make me sad
It's not ALWAYS about money. I bet when the ISP bill comes in it is though. I'm sure it is not cheap for all the traffic that comes through here. If he can't pay it, all you get is a error instead of the forums. Then it is about money for everybody, including you.

It was just a suggestion ... at least you were kind enough to reveal your attitude.
I don't want to argue or defend about what i said. But i strongly believe you should have never posted like this here. Here, where members are wishing LQ with their hearts and all, if and when they can, they will contribute in terms of money. I do agree money is a strong resource and please don't drag Jeremy into all this, the man has already done a lot(thanks to him). I believe the members know how to be a contributing member and i think its not money but people like you, mods, and and all members who are holding this site together.
Sorry if i've hurt your feelings before, but i had to say it. And please don't starting judging me, my attitude..??
If it was a suggestion, ok. But i somehow despise it being posted here.
PS:The Mods can remove this post if they find it offending.
But without some contributions from the ones that can, LQ may not have made it to be 6 years old. It could have faded away from lack of funds. I'm not privy to what the costs are for this site but I bet it is not cheap. Some equipment is donated but there are still costs that have to be dealt with so that LQ can have more birthdays to come. I would like to have the bandwidth this site uses but I would not want the bill for it. O_O
Since I know Chinaman and have met him in person, hope to again one day, I can assure you he was not implying that everyone should pay up or anything. I didn't know until a while back that you could contribute to the site. I'm sure others don't either. Now others that read this thread will know this too.
