LQ A Boon for Newbies

hey guys, this is gautam and i have slackware installed on my system. Heard from people about linux being complicated and other thing . They forgot the best thing to mention that it is powerfull and lot of fun trying it out and with LQ support It could not have been more easier. LQ is truly a great help in teaching newbies like us about linux . Hats off to all the LQ members and the people who participate in this forums. I'm glad to be onboard.thanks once again

Happy New Year to you and the crew also, Jeremy!

Yes it is a very nice place to be, I find myself, since becoming a member, every day a few hours, reading and writing..

It has become better, only thing sometimes happens is that I get logged out during replying, and than the post is lost.... , and i have to write everything over....

And that (yesterday) I had to login everytime by hand, at every page I visited...

But it is allright!....

It is realy alive!...

How do you guys rate post efficiency - I know I've posted a couple of social posts, not really answers, but over all I think quality and intention is pretty good. Most of what I know about linux has directly (through posts) or indirectly (through links) come from LQ. A big thanks to all of you!
