Interview with Red Hat VP Michael Tiemann

Michael Tiemann, Vice President of Open Source Affairs and former CTO of Red Hat, recently took time out of his busy schedule to answer a few questions from LinuxQuestions.org. The interview has just been posted. I'd like to thank Michael for agreeing to do the interview.

We may very well have to start an interview section.

With all written information on RH seems that it is based on business slant not consumer user. but then there is MDK it is
consumer user based but high preformance. understanably most users demand that need. Question? if the EU mkt
has begun producing pc`s with linux-mdk installed why not here in US with LQO as a
starting force? it would place LQO in forefront in US! thoughts?
