Happy New Year, 10,000 Posts & Browser and OS stats for 2013

I'd like to wish everyone a belated Happy New Year! I just made my 10,000th post at LQ (out of 5,071,177 total posts) and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank each and every LQ member for their participation. This site wouldn't exist without you! As has become tradition, I have posted some Browser and OS stats for 2013 on my blog.

Just for reference, this places me at #23 on the list of members with the most posts. Kudos and an extra special thanks to the 22 members with more posts than myself.

It's just an observation which you are no doubt aware of, but some us have our browsers masquerade as running under Windows when they are in fact running under Linux, for compatibility with certain unenlightened web sites which we still have to use.

Yes, I could switch the agent back to Firefox/Linux when on LQ, but, not to sound like George Jetson, it's just one more button to push.

In short, these are interesting numbers, but the margin of error is unknown. :)

1) With the amount of traffic we get at LQ, the number of people who manually change their browser user agent is not going to be statistically significant.

2) While I used to have to do this on occasion, I've not come across this issue is quite some time now.
