Updating the Emmabuntüs 2 1.01

Hi all,

I wish to inform you that we just put online the Emmabuntüs 2 1.01, and you will find the announcement of this update here :

http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawik...ree_revolution

This version includes Wubi to allow Windows users to more easily discover a Linux distribution, but I know it's not your cup of tea on this site, and I do apologize in advance. But it is important to communicate with respect to this audience, which is not the step free environments because they think it is still a matter for specialists. The aim of our work is to demystify Linux almost a huge audience, and this is what we do to allow the sale of old computers to profit humanitarian associations

Freely

Patrick

Updating the Emmabuntüs 2 1.03

The Collective Emmabuntüs is pleased to announce the release on December 8th, 2012, the second maintenance release of Emmabuntüs 2 1.03 based on Xubuntu 12.04.1. This distro was designed to facilitate the refurbishing of computers given to human help associations, especially Emmaüs communities (where the name comes from) and to promote the discovery of Linux and GNU by beginners, but also to extend the life of the equipments and to reduce waste caused by over-consumption of raw materials.

This update comes to fix some bugs identified during the first migration of one EPN to Emmabuntüs, but also offers a version on top for the first journey of Jerry Clan to Algeria to co-construct Jerry babies in schools computer.

Read the full release announcement.
