I wish the school district here in South Orange County, California would start looking at Open Source solutions for "Childrens education." My 5 yr old absolutely loves all the games and learning programs mentioned in the story. We use Ubuntu Gutsy here at home. But Debian has done a great job, and nothing really beats apt-get & dpkg tools for updates and patching in Debian or Ubuntu. I can see why the school opted for Debian and skipped on the "RPM" hell from RedHat : )
