Calculate Linux Scratch 9.8 has just been released.

The distribution is based on Gentoo and contains the minimal set of the program - Xorg, Firefox, the drivers, library, portages and kernel source codes. It distributes like LiveCD and produces in 2 versions — one is base version (CLS) and second (CLSG) with Gnome desktop. The most attractive feature of the system is chance to change of program composition in the ISO image. You can install the system on Hard-drive, Flash-drive or Usb-hdd. The 100% compatibility with Gentoo was kept. You can read the announce in LQ:
