Attention PCLinuxOS Users.

Just thought I would let all you PCLinuxOS users know that there is a hardware database out there. It's a database where you can not only view hardware that works with PCLinuxOS but you can also submit hardware that works with PCLinuxOS. This may also help people with other distributions but a word of warning it is just for PCLinuxOS and the site has cotant that only referes to PCLinuxOS. Check it out:

That is one of the few drawbacks of PCLOS, the exclusiveness(SP?), why not just point PCLOS user to the HCL here or on one of the other big sites instead of limiting it to only PCLOS users.

LinuxQuestions.org HCL - Main Index
http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/
Has hardware from tons of people using various distros.

Same for noone from there starting a forum here like the other big distros, and using a weird IRC server. When did it change from eft.net to irc.desync.net /join #pclinuxos ? Never did get why they just didn't go with freenode or even oftc.net.

Don't get me wrong I think PCLOS is a great distro, I even donated to it; I just think it would get more exposure and make things a little easier for its users if they cooperated instead of separating themselves.

Hopefully Texstar will get the site back up and the forum db up and running soon.
