Just read about this news, A quick look at Intelís price sheet reveals that AMD decided to price its X3 processors at the very low-end of Intelís Core 2 Duo range. ( AMD Athlon X2 BE-2400 2.3Ghz Dual Core for $25 ):

I heard Intel is going to be launching Quad Core processors. Once they hit the mainstream market - No one is going to buy Tri Core processors.

That is really annoying...every time Intel has a new processor an old computer drops in value...
Is 64bit out there or is it dead for the home user? (like the MMX).
