Lightbulb [New Game] Whispering Willows: A Horror-Puzzle Adventure Game

This is a new game being written and produced by independent developer, David Logan, and his “crack team” at Night Light Interactive. Feel free to visit the Whispering Willows web page, or its correspondent Kickstarter page for more detailed info about the game!

Whispering Willows is a horror-puzzle game with a dark and engaging story, set to immerse you, the player, in its unique fictional world, and mercilessly engage you in its realm of beautiful, dark fantasy. As you play, you'll begin to unearth fragments of the overall plot, and be left to piece together the history of the mysterious, old mansion in which the story unfolds. Beautiful visuals and a mesmerizing soundtrack will keep you entranced in the setting as your mind wrenches clever solutions out of creepy and unconventional puzzles. You will learn basic skills quickly—like astral projection, and manipulating the apparent flow of time—but to truly master this piece of immersive fiction, you'll want to play the game all the way through, repeatedly.

Questions? Feel free to post them below, and the developers (user “nightlight”) or I will answer you, personally!

Update (3:30pm PST, Mar. 14, 2013): Whispering Willows has met its primary funding goal on Kickstarter, as well as its Translations Stretch Goal!

With 5 hours left, we’re hoping to raise an additional $5,000 to reach our Android Stretch Goal ($25,000). If this goal is reached before time runs out, Whispering Willows will be ported to Android, and released on that platform shortly after it’s released for Linux, Windows, and Mac. Also, this is your last chance to get exclusive Whispering Willows Kickstarter loot! If this strikes your fancy, please head over to our Kickstarter page and contribute. (All donations of $10 or more will still get you a digital copy of the game and exclusive DLC, until 8pm PST.)

A warm “thank-you” to all contributors! :-)

Sincerely,

The Whispering Willows Team
Night Light Interactive
