Unhappy Zenwalk freezes on boot

Hello,
I have just installed Zenwalk linux. My only problem (so far) is that now that it is installed it won't boot. After selecting the Zenwalk linux option in lilo, it says
Code:
Loading Zenwalk..................................
Bios check successful
After that it loads up the boot screen and hangs. Is there a command that I can add to the boot line to try to make it so that I can see any errors?

UPDATE:

I hit esc which got me the command prompt/boot screen and saw that it was having a kernel panic. It said something about not being able to detect the file system of root, so I plan on using a partitioning tool to format. Then I will reinstall.

A "kernel panic, attempted to kill init" message is due to the kernel being unable to mount the root file system. This is often because either the kernel does not have the required driver for the device or the kernel does not have the required driver for the file system type.

Reinstalling should help as long as you don't choose any unusual options for the file system type or device type (such as RAID). If this is on a USB device then ensure that the USB device driver is installed in the initrd image and in the kernel.

Fixed. I just reinstalled, making sure that I had the partitions setup properly. Thanks for the reply/info.
