Try a "yum clean all". It may be the the old repo list is still in the cache.

So I disconnected the machine from the net, just to rule out any downloads that may happen. I then ran 'yum update' to no avail. Instead it returned an error message asking me to use a URL that is http, ftp or HTTPS... Any ideas??

I also attempted running a localinstall with the same result.

I can't paste anything in here as it's from a virtual machine, copy / paste doesn't work etc etc...

So.. I get.

So.. Looking there, should I be specifying the repomd.xml??? Or one of the .xml's in that directory??

Ok, the RHNplugin will PROBABLY have to go.

Also we will need to see your current repo file. How are your other machines going to access the repo if it not by http/ftp?

Just to finish this off. I spoke to Red Hat, and they couldn't help me either. What they suggested was simply placing the newest version on disc, then booting off that, which will give me an upgrade option, and that will include all of the RPM's that I require. So, I will be going down that path. They did mention that I will lose no data in the process.
If anyone knows any differently, then please let me know.
