Do you have your RPMs located locally on the server or you trying to access it from elsewhere ?

I am no expert but can help you out with a simple script I made to configure yum on the local machine, works fine with NFS too.

I apologize in advance if this seems like a stupid question, but first off, can you actually resolve the fqdn of rpm.livna.org? Are you able to ping it, and resolve it through DNS?

I'd do a "yum clean all" first, but it looks to me like you've set up livna repos for Fedora 9 but that you use an earlier version. Which version do you use?
