[SOLVED] Yum set-up issues.

Hi Experts,

I am facing some issues in setting up yum serve on my RedHat machine-6.2. When I do a 'yum update all', I see the below mentioned error.

root:/etc/yum.repos.d:[Wed Sep 11 12:49:38]>yum update all
Loaded plugins: product-id, refresh-packagekit, subscription-manager
Updating Red Hat repositories.
http://gstreamer.net/pkg/fedora/4/x8...ta/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 22 - "The requested URL returned error: 404"
Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: gstreamer. Please verify its path and try again

My /etc/yum.repo.d/ contains,

epel.repo
graphviz-rhel.repo
mirrors-rpmforge
mirrors-rpmforge-testing
pgdg-92-redhat.repo
remi.repo
rpmforge.repo
epel-testing.repo
local.repo
mirrors-rpmforge-extras
packagekit-media.repo
redhat.repo
rhel-source.repo

where local.repo is my repositoy file which I created.

Please let me know if I am missing something here.

Hi ,

Thanks for the input. The issue was with the /etc/yum.conf file. There was a link http://gstreamer.net/pkg/fedora/4/x8...ta/repomd.xml:, so I un-commented it and that fixed the issue for us.
