Lightbulb Yum Repository


Dear All,

I have created yum repository for installation of rpm. Now this is running But in some cases when package is not available in local repo, it search from internet.

What should I do in that case??

Can you be a little clearer; its perfectly normal for this to happen.
See the repos defined in /etc/yum.repos.d

the NOT free red hat ( RHEL5 & RHEL6 ) uses the RHN repo
the one that you HAVE paid red hat for access to.

If you haven't paid, you're going to have problems! In that case you should be using CentOS, which is almost identical but free.
