yum: public key not available

Hello all,

I am quite a newbie with package management:

To follow the guidelines furnished by the site of fedora, I made a yum update, to begin with. What a surprise when, at the end (after like 7 hours of download), I found messages like:

warning: rpmts_HdrFromFdno: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 4f2a6fd2
public key not available for //var/cache/yum/updates-released/packages/yum-2.2.2-0.fc3.noarch.rpm

What does that mean, does this mean there is a problem, and what can I do to clear it?

Thanks,

M.

I've already replied in your other thread. There is no need to ask the same question in different threads. :)

Please do not post threads on the same topic in more than one forum. Picking the
most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to
help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
